Wallpapering your doll house interiors.

Doll house wallpaper gives a more finished and neat look to the doll house interiors. Your doll house furnishings get a better background that makes them shine out. Doll house wallpaper can change the overall look of your dollhouse. They are important if you feel the doll house must look a bit different and unique. There is a great selection of traditional doll house wallpaper and also pre-pasted doll house wallpaper or boarders. Just make your selection.

Difficulty: Easy

Time Required: One hour.

Here's How:

  • Select the wallpaper that matches and looks good with your existing interiors of your doll house.
  • Apply coating of wood sealer or white flat latex paint on the wooden walls of the doll house. This will prevent wallpaper being soaked into wood.
  • Take appropriate measurement of the wall like it’s height and width, where wallpaper has be glued in.
  • Do all types of wiring prior to the installation of wallpaper.
  • A room of normal size dollhouse generally needs three sheets of dollhouse wallpaper to cover, one sheet for one wall.
  • For better results use special dollhouse wallpaper glue to attach the wallpaper with the dollhouse wall.
  • Begin by measuring and cutting wallpaper to the apt size to fit the wall. Place the wallpaper paste to cover the back of wallpaper sheet and place it on wall. It is very important to smooth the dollhouse wallpaper with the palm of hand to finish the bubbles. Give it some time to dry.

Tips:

  • Properly measure the dimension of the places where wallpaper is supposed to be pasted.
  • Cut precisely as per the measurement.
  • Apply glue on the surface as well as the wallpaper.
